The Information Technology-Cybersecurity program at Sage College of Albany provides a solid foundation in data communications and networking, programming, operating systems, system administration, database design, systems integration and project management.

In addition, the degree program includes courses in cybersecurity that equip students with high-demand skills and knowledge needed to protect network infrastructures, secure electronic assets, prevent attacks, investigate cybercrimes, perform in-depth incident analysis and build secure infrastructures.

With a need for IT professionals – employment for information technology professionals, particularly cybersecurity professionals, is projected to grow 37 percent from 2012 to 2022 – this program gives you the tools needed to come up with innovative solutions to prevent hackers from stealing critical information or creating havoc on computer networks.
