HSC 204:Introduction to Health Profession. Guest speaker for HSC 204 to discuss becoming a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, the entry into practice, the education, the pay and the role. September 2013.       

Ellis Hospital Grand Rounds: Presentation entitled, “Caring for Military Veterans,” Schenectady, NY, February 2013. Three presenters reviewed their various perspectives of recognizing the differences in treating veterans from various eras and recognizing their service to the country to help them gain trust and encourage healing.

Ellis Hospital Grand Rounds: Presentation entitled, “ Emergency Management for Healthcare Providers since 911 a Retrospective View,” Schenectady, NY, September 2011. There were 4 presenters who gave a retrospective look of what happened in 911 from a disaster management view point and how services have progressed since that time.

Springfield Hospital Grand Rounds: Presentation entitled,” Vaccine Health and Small Pox Vaccine: The Importance of Taking a Vaccine History in Today’s World,” Springfield, VT, Spring 2009. Presented on use of Small Pox Vaccine in the military, reviewed the history of Small Pox Vaccine and included Case Presentation on Pericarditis and other related reactions to Small Pox Vaccine.

Jan- Mar 2013: Volunteered to be a member of the Ellis Hospital Wellness Task Force, setting up the new Medical/Dental Staff Assistance Program following the suicide of three providers

2012 to present: Volunteer for Saratoga Warhorse, acting as a support person for veterans with PTSD

2012 to present: Attended Leadership Development for the Ellis Medical Group

May 2012: Participated in 5k Run to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project
