Accepts 12 onsite dietetic interns
10 months long
1,280 hours of practicum experience (includes rotation hours and other experiences)
Clinical cohort program established in 2017: four dietetic interns per semester (12 total) will complete their acute care clinical experience at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY.
Graduate certificate with 24 credits
Generalist program with communications concentration
Several field trips including:
- local farm tours
- tour and luncheon at the Culinary Institute of America
- NYSAND AME
- lobbying at the New York State Capitol
Invited speakers on:
- motivation and stress management
- epidemiology
- communications
- public policy
- careers in dietetics
- pediatric and neonatal nutrition care
- applied behavioral analysis
- etc.
