Supervisor – Dani Drews
The graduate assistantship (GA) position is a summer appointment within the Department of Athletics. There is a $1,000 stipend and three credit hours per semester offering with a working requirement of 150 hours between May 15-July 31.
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Must be currently enrolled in the Sage Graduate School academic program and in good academic standing.
General Responsibilities and Duties:
The graduate assistantship (GA) position will serve a primary role as a supervisor in the equipment & laundry room for the Department of Athletics under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer during the regular academic year of August to May. This will include: August pre-season; semester breaks; inter-cession; and spring break.
Assist with the completion of 2016-17 year logistics including equipment inventory, Gator Golf correspondence
Assist with summer tracking and correspondence with 1st year and returning student-athletes regarding fall preseason, completion of pre-participation physicals
Work with vendors to complete screening/embroidery/inventory of new equipment
Assist with planning and preparation for annual Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Athletic Department retreats
Develop team travel guide and assist with travel arrangements related to new athletic conference.
