Position 1:

Assist the Department Chair, DPD Director (and other department faculty as needed) with variety of tasks to help ensure smooth delivery of the program. Coordination of department events such as the Nutrition Lecture and Verification Ceremonies. Assist with the management of website, student handbook, Sage nutrition events, community outreach and grading student assignments.

Position 2:

The lab GA will act as an assistant and TA in our two food science lab courses: NTR 502/402 (Advanced Food Science) in fall and NTR 211 (Introduction to Food Science) in Spring. Responsibilities will include: keeping the lab stocked and organized, food shopping, lab set up, grading labs, assisting with special lab projects. There will be at least 2 sections of each lab. In addition to lab responsibilities associated with the class, the GA will assist with Nutrition Networking Night and with any outreach events that utilize the lab facility.

Position 3:

Assist DI Director and coordinator with variety of tasks to help ensure smooth delivery of program. Coordination of Nutrition Networking Night (contact speakers, send out invitations, organize event, collect RSVPs, develop flyer, etc); assist with the management of online evaluation system; assist with open Houses/student recruitment fairs; develop gala invitations and manage RSVP’s, assist with grading and other tasks at the DI Director’s discretion.
