The GA is required to have a high level of organizational skills. Efficiency, confidentiality, attention to detail and being a team player are but a few of the traits that are needed to be successful in this position.
The GA will aid in the following:
- Data Integrity for academic records, student accounts, and financial aid. For example, follow up with address file in Colleague.
- Cleanup of academic records and programs needed for reporting purposes.
- Aid in Financial aid student outreach for those students missing Financial Aid tasks.
- Projects for commencement, pre-registration, reporting and billing will also be a priority for the GA. Specifically, the GA will compile data and perform statistical analyses needed for the annual substitution and waiver report.
-Research best practices and evidence based approaches to promoting healthy eating
-Conduct and implement individualized and comprehensive nutritional assessments
-Record case notes, conduct surveys, and collaborate with medical and counseling staff
-Assist with administrative duties – counseling and medical services
-Provide front desk coverage for administrative assistant
-Promote health and wellness and the Wellness Center by helping to advertise programs and services
-Assist the Troy WC Administrative Assistant
-Customer service – schedule patients with providers
-Filing- maintain an efficient filing system
-Assist immunization coordinator with tracking records
