Russell Sage College is a unique venue for conferences, camps, meetings, professional development, retreats, festivals and special events.
Russell Sage College’s two diverse campuses, one in the heart of historic Troy and one in the quaint Helderberg section of Albany, include both modern conferencing spaces and Victorian grandeur, with numerous options inbetween.
Conferencing and Special Events at Russell Sage College connects the institution’s rich educational heritage to the Capital Region it serves by opening up the college’s facilities to the greater community, further strengthening the college’s commitment to cultural, social and economic development in Troy and Albany.
Conferencing and Special Events is the main resource for all campus events, serving the local community, as well as faculty and staff. Our team is available to coordinate all of your event needs with a single point of contact for planning and coordination of services.
Our Services Include:

- Event set up and oversight services
- Summer conference, camp, event and program operations

Wine and Dine
All food service on both Russell Sage College campuses is managed and overseen by Sodexo, a food-service contractor offering both quality institutional dining plans and full catering capabilities. Sodexo also maintains and enforces all licenses to serve alcoholic beverages in campus locations.
Stay With Us
Overnight accommodations are available in Troy in McCrea House, a beautifully maintained Victorian brownstone, or in one of the college’s residence halls.
