Free Webinar: The Impact of COVID-19 on School Communities: Stressors, Strategies and Lessons Learned

The Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Center for the Promotion of Mental Health & School Safety at Russell Sage College and the New York State Council of School Superintendents invite the public to a free webinar, The Impact of COVID-19 on our School Communities: Stressors, Strategies and Lessons Learned. The webinar will be held on Feb. 24, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
During the event, superintendents from around New York state will share specific data about their districts and how they have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic. Time will be allotted for questions.
Moderated by NYSCOSS Executive Director Charles Dedrick and including panelists from around the state:

ABOUT THE HOCHSPRUNG CENTER
The Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Center for the Promotion of Mental Health and School Safety works to raise awareness of student mental health, suicide prevention, trauma-sensitive schools, and school safety through public lectures and professional development for educators. The center was established in memory of Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung, a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Russell Sage College and principal of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., who was killed in a shooting at her school in December 2012.
