The Sage Colleges has named Susan L. Reantillo as interim vice president for enrollment management. Reantillo will guide strategic planning for long-term enrollment growth as Sage conducts a national search for a vice president for enrollment management during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Reantillo has more than 35 years of experience in higher education and expertise in graduate and undergraduate enrollment management, admissions and pre-admissions services. She joins Sage from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, where she served as director of graduate enrollment management and admissions for five years. She implemented U.S. and international recruiting and marketing efforts that increased annual applications from 7,500 to 10,000 and led to a more diverse student population at the School of Engineering.
Prior to NYU, Reantillo was director of undergraduate admission at Pace University for nine years. She has also held senior positions at Hofstra University, Long Island University and Queens College. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature at Queens College and a master’s degree in Spanish Literature at the University of Pennsylvania.
“Over the past year, Sage’s admissions team has significantly strengthened the recruitment process, as evidenced by increased applications and deposits for fall 2018,” said Sage President Christopher Ames. “Susan Reantillo’s leadership will ensure that Sage maintains an upward trajectory as we adopt a new strategic plan and more widely promote the innovative educational practices and successful outcomes at the heart of Sage’s identity.”
“I am delighted to join the Sage community,” said Reantillo. “Sage is in a perfect position to grow its diverse and accomplished student population, and I look forward to working with President Ames and his cabinet, the board of trustees, the admissions and financial aid teams, and all of the faculty, staff and students in both Troy and Albany to help Sage meet its goals.”
