Russell Sage College students Adrianna Denio (left) and Wallace Tonks (right) presented research at the Northeast Regional Honors Council Conference, held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, March 27-30. 

Denio presented “At the Crossroads of Care and Change: Navigating the Lasting Impact of Chemotherapy on Motor Function in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Survivors” and Tonks presented “Low-Intensity Fires Impacting Soil Bacterial Population Diversity.” 

While in Harrisburg, they also helped make no-sew blankets for Central PA Operation Warm Hearts. “Their contributions extend beyond scholarship, reflecting a dedication to both knowledge and kindness,” said Professor of Spanish and Associate Director of the Honors Program Kate Kagan.
