Our annual Mascot Madness challenge is back!
Visit sage.edu/mascotmadness for more info, and to make your gift today!
The Sage Fund for Excellence, Sage’s Annual Fund, is a yearly campaign directed by the Annual Giving Office to raise unrestricted support for Russell Sage College. While some donors may restrict their gifts into endowed funds, contributions to The Sage Fund for Excellence are essential because they immediately impact Sage’s ability to serve its students every year.
Russell Sage College depends on two primary sources of income in order to operate: Tuition Revenue and Philanthropic Contribution. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Russell Sage education. The College is able to use unrestricted funds to fill the gap, covering the difference between the actual cost of running Russell Sage College and the revenue provided by tuition and room and board fees.
The Sage Fund for Excellence supports:
- Scholarships and Financial Aid
- Curriculum Development
- Faculty Resources
- Student Enrichment Programs
- Technological Resources
- Campus Renovations
- Innovative Academic Programs
- Low Student-to-Faculty Ratio
- …and More!
Your annual gift to The Sage Fund provides vital support for current and future students. Alumni participation, at any level, is taken into consideration by the U.S. News and World Report when ranking colleges nationally. Alumni participation is also a key factor in gaining corporate and government grant funding to support unique college initiatives. An increase in alumni participation can translate into thousands of dollars for the College.
