Our Mission
The Russell Sage College Human Resources Department mission is to work in partnership with managers and their teams, with individual employees and with other groups to provide programs and services that create a work environment of employee empowerment, leadership, guidance and involvement in the institution.

Great Colleges to Work For® Honor Roll 2026
Out of 76 higher education institutions that achieved recognition for specific best practices and policies, Russell Sage is one of only 42 institutions named to the prestigious Great Colleges to Work For® Honor Roll. The honor roll lists the colleges that are highlighted the most across the recognition categories.
Russell Sage won honors in five categories this year — Mission & Pride, Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness, Confidence in Senior Leadership, Faculty & Staff Well-being, and Shared Governance.
