Thank you for your interest in Russell Sage College.
Sage grants bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees on its campus in historic downtown Troy, New York, and on its campus in Albany, the New York state capital — as well as through Russell Sage Online.
As you learn more about this lively and diverse intellectual community, you’ll discover a 100-year legacy of empowerment, social change, inclusion and education. You’ll meet professors and students who are excited about learning both within and beyond the classroom.
You’ll find two vibrant campuses, with daily gallery exhibitions, lectures, performances, athletic contests and other activities that complement Sage’s academic programs. You will discover all that the Capital District has to offer — from the hip shops and coffee houses of historic Troy to the corridors of political influence in Albany.
And you’ll read about Sage’s influence around the world, as students and faculty conduct research, share expertise and engage in community and international service — and as 40,000 Sage alumni make an impact in their own professions.
Serving as the 10th president of Russell Sage College is a great honor. The people here are terrific ambassadors for Sage, and they played a key role in convincing me that I belong here.
After you explore sage.edu, I hope you decide to visit in person and experience all Sage has to offer. I am confident you will feel the same sense of belonging.
