Clinical Anatomy of the Upper Extremity: Cadaveric Lab Workshop for OTs

Thursday, October 22 at 5:30-6:30 p.m. or 7-8 p.m.

This workshop is intended for occupational therapists who are seeking a deeper appreciation of clinically relevant anatomy.

Clinicians will register for one one-hour session either 5:30-6:30 pm or 7- 8 pm. Spots are limited to 25 participants per one-hour session, with a maximum of 50 total. Earn 2 NYS Continuing Competency Hours.

Payment is due at the door. Cash and Venmo accepted.

  • Special rate for Sage OT clinical educators: $20
  • All other OT clinicians: $40

Includes 1 hour of pre-workshop modules to review clinical anatomy.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify key anatomical structures of the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand using prosected cadaver specimens.
  2. Trace major upper-extremity muscles, tendons, and peripheral nerves and describe their anatomical relationships from proximal to distal.
  3. Relate upper-extremity anatomical structures to their roles in movement, joint stability, sensation, and functional performance.
  4. Apply anatomical knowledge to common upper-extremity clinical conditions to support occupational therapy evaluation and intervention planning.
