School Counselor Conference

Attend our half-day, School Counselor Conference on Wednesday, November 5, 9 a.m. through 1 p.m., where you’ll hear from Russell Sage President Matthew Shaftel on our planned merger with our Albany campus neighbor, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences – estimated for fall 2027, pending regulatory approvals. Other sessions include insights on the college search process for careers in high-demand fields like education and healthcare.

  • Educational pathways to the health professions, including Nursing, Speech-Language Pathology, Health Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nutrition, and Biology/Pre-Med. We’ll talk about how students can be prepared to enter these majors and what the fields hold for graduates.
  • Positive Education, as we’re the first college in the nation to partner with The Center for Positive Education to integrate Positive Education into our teacher training curriculum.
