Ascend Autism Group has signed a partnership agreement with Russell Sage College to meet the needs of its workforce and provide important opportunities for professional growth.

The Workforce Development Partnership provides Ascend Autism Group employees with a 10% tuition discount and deferred tuition payment for qualifying graduate programs offered at Russell Sage, including its online M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis & Autism program.

“Our role as a higher education institution is to meet the needs of the workforce with relevant, affordable, and timely programs that help professionals to grow and the needs of the community to be served,” said Russell Sage President Matthew Shaftel. “We’re pleased to collaborate with Ascend Autism Group as a Workforce Development Partnership member to make graduate education more accessible.”

The 30-credit M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis & Autism program at Russell Sage is offered fully online and takes approximately 20 months (five semesters) to complete. The program has a specific focus on autism and is a Verified Course Sequence approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International as meeting coursework requirements to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination for BCBA certification.

Other graduate programs covered by the Workforce Development Partnership include the MBA, Organization Management, and Mental Health Counseling and Community Psychology, all offered online. (See all eligible programs on the Russell Sage website.)

“We are thrilled to partner with Russell Sage and offer our employees the opportunity to further their education and career at a first-rate institution, but at a discounted price,” said Ascend Autism Co-founder Peter Gurny. “The Workforce Development Partnership is truly a win-win relationship as Ascend is also always looking for eager, well-educated ABA professionals to join our team and broaden the reach of our critical services for children diagnosed with autism.”
