Oriana House, Inc. has signed a partnership agreement with Russell Sage College to meet the needs of its workforce and offer important opportunities for professional growth.
The Workforce Development Partnership provides Oriana House employees with a 10% tuition discount and deferred tuition payment for qualifying graduate programs offered at Russell Sage, including its fully online master’s program in Criminal Justice and Community Corrections.
Through the agreement, Oriana House employees can defer tuition payment for up to six weeks after the end of each term to coordinate with the organization’s employee tuition benefits.
In 2023, Russell Sage launched the nation’s first online M.S. in Criminal Justice and Community Corrections, which prepares students for the significant changes in the criminal justice field. This affordable 36-credit master’s degree includes courses in institutional corrections and offender rehabilitation, offender reentry and reintegration, community corrections, restorative justice, abnormal psychology, forensic mental health and the law, and more.
“Our role as a higher education institution is to meet the needs of the workforce with relevant, affordable, and timely programs that help professionals to grow and the needs of the community to be served,” said Russell Sage President Matthew Shaftel. “We’re pleased to collaborate with Oriana House as a Workforce Development Partnership member to make graduate education more accessible.”
Other graduate programs covered by the Workforce Development Partnership include Mental Health Counseling and Community Psychology, the Flex MBA, and the Flex M.S. in Organization Management, all offered online. (See all eligible programs on the Russell Sage website.)
