Designed for those with an undergraduate degree in art or art-related fields, this Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in art education leads to New York State Visual Arts Certification, pre-K through 12th grade and is the only art education degree program near Albany, New York!
Our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in art education is 30 credits and can be completed in three semesters of full-time study or two years of part-time study.
Our master’s program comes with a deep, Russell Sage-level of support from an assigned faculty advisor who works with you to ensure your success.
Individuals with Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in art education become art teachers in K-12 public, private, and charter schools; art studios; and in community-based programs, continuing education programs, and galleries.
