Seal of Prevention Recognizes Programming That Supports Wellness and Safety

Russell Sage College has received the 2026 Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention. Presented by Vector Solutions, the recognition honors institutions that effectively use Vector Solutions’ online courses to deliver education on sexual violence prevention, mental health, and substance misuse.
“Digital education gives us a reliable, consistent foundation to ensure undergraduates, graduate students, and employees are knowledgeable about safety standards, reporting options, and resources,” said Amanda Bastiani, Director of Title IX and Civil Rights Compliance at Russell Sage. “Human Resources also uses Vector modules for employee training, and Athletics relies on these courses for specialized NCAA compliance training for student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Using these tools across the college helps maintain clear, consistent expectations and communicates our commitment to fostering an environment where everybody thrives.”
The CPN Seal is based on the Principles of Effective Prevention Programs and requires institutions to demonstrate:
- Evidence-based program design with measurable outcomes
- Cultural relevance and appropriate timing of interventions
- Sufficient reach and dosage across the student lifecycle
- Well-trained facilitators and positive relationships
- Rigorous evaluation and continuous improvement
It is the seventh consecutive year that Russell Sage has earned the CPN seal. Research from Vector Solutions indicates that seal recipients experience measurable long-term impact, including 8.5% higher first-year retention rates and 9.3% higher on-time graduation rates compared to non-recipient institutions.
