About Jillian Austin

I want my students to experience a sense of curiosity, empowerment, and connection. Whether they are high school students or graduate-level learners, I want them to see health education as personally meaningful and socially relevant. My goal is to create a safe, engaging space where students feel confident asking questions, challenging assumptions, and applying what they learn to real-life situations. I want them to leave the classroom not only with knowledge, but with the skills and motivation to make a positive impact on their own lives and the health of their future students and communities.
