Kristen Delaney

Kristen Delaney began her broadcasting career as an Account Executive and Local Sales Manager for local radio stations in Utica, New York.  She relocated to Albany, New York, as a General Sales Manager for iHeartMedia (then Clear Channel) moving up to Director of Sales and Market President. She retired in 2022 as Area President over Albany, New York, Poughkeepsie, New York, and Sussex, New Jersey, after 32 years in the industry and 23 with iHeartMedia.  Kristen has an associate degree in Media, Marketing, and Management from MVCC, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Marketing from Empire State University, and a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Marist University.  She has served on the boards of the Capital District Radio Association, the Albany Ad Club, the American Red Cross and the New York State Broadcasters Association.

For the past several years Kristen has taught sales, sales management and leadership classes at The College of Saint Rose and University at Albany, and is currently an adjunct professor and internship coordinator at Russell Sage College. She resides in Niskayuna with her husband Andy Lenhardt.
