A Health Sciences degree will give you a strong foundation for many different professional positions in health care.
Our Health Sciences degree starts with foundational coursework, with the final two years focusing on the practical application and communication-centered components of health care-related careers.
Foundational courses are paired with courses centered around building the necessary communication skills to interact with patients. Classes such as psychology, medical ethics and culture and health will allow you to broaden your skill set and more effectively prepare you to treat patients.
Students are also encouraged to pursue a minor, and many minor in Spanish or Psychology.
A Health Sciences degree is perfect for students who enter college unsure of a specific career path, but know they want to do something in a health field. In introductory courses, practitioners from different health-related fields will come in to give you an inside look at different career paths.
