About Jacqueline Longo

It’s not often a person loves everything about an experience, but Jacqueline Longo ’21, a special education teacher in the Saratoga Springs Central School District in Saratoga, New York, can say that about all the courses she took in the M.S. in Childhood/Special Education program at Russell Sage.

What was most beneficial about your Sage experience when you were a student?

I loved the small class sizes. It allowed me to develop close relationships with my classmates and professors, some of who I still work with today!

How have you utilized what you learned at Sage in your career? Did it prepare you for your field?

Every class I took at Sage prepared me for a different aspect in my career. All of the classes were meaningful. It didn’t feel like I was just taking classes to take them or to fill up my credits.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

My students! They make every day enjoyable. I look forward to going to work every day.
