How to Get Help
The Sage Colleges provides technical assistance to faculty and staff for all college computers and technology. This includes computers, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, and classroom technology. We also provide assistance to students for connecting their computers to our network. We will also provide assistance wherever possible* within specific software applications.

The helpdesk and technology staff can be reached in many ways.
The helpdesk can be reached at 518-244-4777 (or just 4777 if on campus) during normal business hours. After hours calls to the helpdesk will be greeted by voicemail. Feel free to leave a description of the issue and your name and contact information. Please be sure to speak clearly when leaving your message.
You can email problems to the helpdesk at email@example.com. Problems and requests can be submitted any time day or night, but will only be addressed during normal business hours.
The helpdesk is located on the Troy campus, but technology assistance can be found on both campuses.
- In Troy, we are in the basement of the Shea Learning Center.
- In Albany We are located on the second floor of Froman Hall. Froman Hall is building number 6 on the Albany campus map which can be found here.
For faculty and staff on-campus:
For Faculty and Staff on either campus, you can enter your own work orders for the IT department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using our online system: Track-It! SelfService.
* (due to the large number of applications available, the technology department may not be able to provide detailed instructions on specific tasks within your application
** During Christmas, Spring break, and Summer, office hours are shortened to 8:30am-4:00 pm. The helpdesk hours of operation also change to reflect these hours.
