Turnitin - plagiarism prevention program
Turnitin is an online program that students and faculty can use to check papers for instances of plagiarism. Faculty members determine how the information will be used (preventative, instructional and/or punitive). Turnitin not only looks for similarity to internet sites and papermills, it also scans thousands of commercial publications, books from some of the largest digital libraries available, and previously submitted papers.
