Real World Content and Connections

As a student in Russell Sage College’s MBA program, you will rarely be lectured at. Instead you will learn through case studies, engaging online discussions and a capstone project with businesses, nonprofits or government agencies.

You’ll also network with government and nonprofit leaders, health care, finance and technology executives, and start-up entrepreneurs and small-business owners at optional school-sponsored events like employer panels and weekend-long business-plan intensives.

What is Flex?

The Flex format allows students to choose how they take their graduate classes each week – in-person, via livestream, or online on their own time – when other programs require students to commit to one format.

  • A program focused on what you really need to know: Your MBA classes will be led by full-time professors with doctorates and part-time faculty who are directors of state agencies, business owners and chief officers in financial, health care, and technology fields.
  • Concentration in Healthcare Management: Specialize in leading people and projects in a health care setting. Take classes in program planning, analysis and evaluation, policy, finance, law, human resources, and management information systems.
  • Small class size: And we keep our MBA program small, to allow a level of individual attention that is rare in business school.
  • Flexible for working professionals: Our Flex format is geared toward the busy lives of today’s graduate students.
  • Affordable: Our per-credit cost is among the most competitive in the Capital Region but with the signature personal attention students expect at Russell Sage
  • Employer Discount: We also have two discount programs — the Health Alliance Agreement and Businesses for a Better Sage — which offer a 10% percent discount on tuition and deferred billing.
