An MBA Program for Unparalleled Professional Development
Individuals with a master’s degree in Business Administration are sought for leadership positions in business, government, health care and non-profit organizations.
The MBA Experience
As a student in our MBA program, you’ll take advanced classes in finance, marketing, human resources, management information systems, business strategy and executive decision making and you will be able to tailor a concentration to your specific interests. As you study the many aspects of managing complex organizations today, you will learn strategies and skills to implement during a capstone experience, when you and a team of colleagues complete a consulting project for a business, non-profit or government agency.
Your MBA classes will be led by full-time professors with doctorates and by adjuncts who are also directors of state agencies, business-owners and chief officers in financial, health care and technology fields — many who have taught at Sage for years.
Online and On-Campus with Competitive Tuition
Our accredited MBA program is convenient for working adults. Classes are held on Russell Sage College’s campus in Albany and online and you can combine in-person and online MBA courses for the most flexibility. Most MBA classes are offered in the evenings or one day a month on a weekend or in a reduced seat time format.
Student-Centered, Whether Online or In-Person
The same faculty members teach the same MBA classes online and on campus, so your own learning style and the demands on your time can be the deciding factors when it comes to choosing the combination of online and in-person classes that work for you.
And we keep our MBA program small, to allow a level of individual attention that is rare in business school. As a matter of fact, the dean of the School of Management advises all MBA students personally — and we annually celebrate our top students at the Sigma Beta Delta international business honor society induction ceremony.
Most students complete our MBA program in three years by attending part time and taking two courses during fall, spring and summer semesters.
And Russell Sage College’s MBA program does not charge fees — so when you factor in the fees charged by other MBA programs, you’ll see our tuition is competitive. We also have two discount programs — the Health Alliance Agreement and Businesses for a Better Sage — which offer a 10% percent discount on tuition and deferred billing.
“We don’t have large lecture halls, so you’re building a relationship with the faculty who teach.”
