Save the Date – May 15, 2027 at 10 a.m.
We have already begun preparing for Commencement 2027! Eligible participants who graduate in August 2026, December 2026 and May 2027 will receive outreach from the Student Life Office around March 1st with more details and the official request to RSVP for the ceremony.
Commencement 2026
Russell Sage College celebrated our 109th Commencement on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1 p.m. at MVP Arena in Albany. Graduates from August 2025, December 2025, May 2026, and anticipated August 2026 and December 2026 graduates who had been approved to “walk” at commencement were invited to join the celebration. 543 graduates attended, earning College Experience Program Certificates, Bachelor’s Degrees, Master’s Degrees, Post-Master’s Certificates, and Doctoral Degrees.
The commencement ceremony was streamed live online on May 16th and graduates and loved ones can view the Recording of the Commencement Ceremony on Sage’s YouTube channel. Photographers were on site to capture the moments as graduates crossed and exit the stage, which can be viewed and ordered on Genesee Photo Systems website. Archived Webcasts
Our May 2021 graduation celebrations honored Sage graduates from August 2019/2020, December 2019/2020, and May 2020/2021. Sage hosted small, outdoor, on-campus gatherings for graduates and up to 2 guests on Tuesday, May 11 and Wednesday May 12.
