Introducing the Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Recreation Management

The Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management consists of courses that integrate knowledge and from business, sport and recreation in order to provide graduates with the skills to meet the challenges of a sport professional in the increasingly competitive sport and recreation industry.
School of Management Inducts First Class into International Honor Society
The School of Management was pleased to induct the charter class of members into Sage’s chapter of the Sigma Beta Delta International Business Honor Society on Monday, April 3, 2017. Twenty-eight candidates for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the School of Management were presented with a pin and certificate.
The Sage School of Management Chapter of Sigma Beta Delta was installed in May 2016 and provides an opportunity to confer on students at Sage international recognition for their outstanding academic achievements in business, accounting and management programs.

School of Management Students Visit Regional Businesses
The Sage School of Management and the student organization Sage Aspiring Leaders recently created a program for students to visit Capital Region businesses.
The first visit was to Cascades Worldwide, a paper manufacturing company in Waterford, New York. Students toured the manufacturing facility and met with Andrew Sheridan, Marketing Manager. Mr. Sheridan talked about the history of the company and provided a detailed account of the company rebranding process.
