In fall 2020, The Sage Colleges became Russell Sage College, a coeducational undergraduate and graduate college with campuses in two thriving cities: Albany and Troy, NY.

For more than 100 years, Sage has transformed lives. As we evolved and grew, our campuses had separate names. We are now one college with two coed campuses.

Two diverse campuses provide Sage students with more opportunities, a community with broader perspectives and a student life with more to enjoy. The academic programs currently in place will continue to be offered, and a new general education curriculum will make it easier for students to take classes on both campuses.

Enjoy beautiful green space on the Albany campus and close proximity to Albany Med and the State Capital. Or, experience Troy, a small city full of hip coffee shops and restaurants — and the best farmer’s market in the Capital Region.

Our undergraduate and graduate academic programs are relevant and affordable. Sage offers first-rate career preparation with nationally accredited programs in a personal environment highly supportive of student success. At Sage, you’ll be a part of a welcoming community, where classmates, faculty and staff know you by name. Class sizes are small, and each student’s voice is encouraged and cultivated.

Sage also has a vibrant student life with more than 60 clubs and 21 Division III NCAA athletic teams.
