    • Expandability assists individuals with finding employment and offers information on available workshops.
    • Our Ability Connect is a professional networking site for people with disabilities, specifically created to connect employers with the disability business community.
    • New York State’s Workers with Disabilities Program coordinated efforts to place individuals with disabilities in entry-level state jobs.
    • Ask Earn provides resources to help employers recruit, hire, retain and advance people with disabilities.
    • Autism Speaks provides employment tools for the Autism community.
    • Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) offers resources to help provide reasonable accommodation programs for employees with disabilities.
    • New York Makes Work Pay provides tools for New Yorkers with disabilities.
    • Acces-VR assists individuals with vocational disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living. Acess-VR can also provide tuition assistance.

    International

    If you are an international student, see your student advisor before starting any type of work, including on-campus jobs, volunteer work, internships, and post-graduate positions.

    You will be considered out-of-status if you do not obtain current information and complete the correct paperwork, such as CPT (Curricular Practical Training)  or OPT (Optional Practical Training) approval.
