Student Employment

Career Planning helps students search for jobs on-campus such as positions in Accessibility Services, Athletics, Admission, Student Success, Libraries at Sage, and Annual Giving. All positions are listed on Handshake. Follow the specific directions of the office to apply. 

You will notice that some positions require a Federal Work Study award in your financial aid package. To find out if you qualify based on your Financial Aid package, contact the Office of Financial Aid. Most jobs allow you to work through Sage Work Study, with funds that are available to all students. 

If you qualify for federal work study, you may apply for positions at local non-profit organizations in Albany and Troy. Past employers include Mission Accomplished, YWCA, Unity House, Troy Music Hall, and The Arts Center of the Capital Region. These positions can also be found on Handshake, and they add great real-world experience to your resume. Follow the directions to apply!
